"BOOK BUDDIES"
The library now has a book discussion group. It will meet monthly and will consist of members reading and discussing books chosen by the group. Cost of books for each member will be kept as minimal as possible. Whenever possible, books will be borrowed from the WVLC which provides a list of book titles and access to multiple copies of these books or the librarian will order the books for the members at a discount from a book company.
In addition to book discussions the library hopes to invite local authors to visit the discussion group and give them some insight in to how a book comes together for its author.
If you enjoy reading and have experienced moments when you finish a good book and turn to share your reading experience only to find there was no one there who was interested in listening, this is the group for you. This is a wonderful way to share the joy and fulfillment found in reading a good book. If you would like to join our group, please call the library at 743-6200.
